TinyUmbrella Updated Version to Save SHSH Blobs for iOS 4.3.4!
TinyUmbrella updated version has just arrived, which helps you to save SHSH Blobs for iOS 4.3.4, although we don’t recommend you update to new 4.3.4 firmware.
Apple released their iOS 4.3.4 firmware update which fixes the PDF exploit used in JailbreakMe 3.0 for the iPad 2 jailbreak on iOS 4.3.3. Although comex released a vunerability fix which allows you to stay jailbroken, but he also says “Don’t update”.
I’ve just updated TinyUmbrella and saved my 4.3.4 SHSHs (although latest is Apple still signing 4.3.3). So grab your SHSH blobs if you want to stay jailbroken, or if you decide to upgrade and somewhat at later stage you want to downgrade. If you’re having issues saving your blobs then try unchecking “Request SHSH from Cydia” under the advanced Tab option…
Earlier in the day, iPhone Dev-Team warned iPad 2 users who updated to iOS 4.3.4 that they won’t be able to downgrade to iOS 4.3.3 even with their saved SHSH blobs of that firmware.
“iPad2 owners with a baseband (3G or CDMA) cannot currently use saved blobs to go back to 4.3.3 once the signing window is closed. This is unlike every other device, so don’t be confused! iPad2 owners with basebands should stay away from all updates to maintain your jailbreak!”
