iPad 3 will have HD Retina Display Screen, says Gruber!
Apple’s new iPad 3 will have a Retina Display, says the John Gruber of Daring Fireball’s. He suggests that the magazines and newspapers will look great on iPad3′s 2048 x 1536 retina display screen.
These magazines and newspapers that render each “page” as a static 1024 × 768 image are going to look like utter ass on the iPad 3′s 2048 × 1536 retina display. Plus, it’s the fact that these pages are rendered as static images that makes the issues such gargantuan downloads.
Looks like Gruber is well informed with Apple, as earlier he suggested that iPad 3 could arrive this year.
Let’s see whether Gruber’s suggestions will come true or not?
