Apple Next-Gen iPad 3 Prototype release expected early in 2012, No Late 2011 Release!
On Monday, Taiwan manufacturing company for Apple iPad put all the rumors of iPad 3 launch prior to next year to an end indicating that the iPad 3 prototype will be released early in 2012, according to AppleInsider sources.
The sources also reported that Apple has been “evaluating various touchscreen displays” for its third-gen iPad. Last month Apple started certification of iPad 3 components including the displays and various others, but there’ll be no AMOLED displays, according to the Taiwan makers. But still there are rumors that the iPad 3 will have high resolution screen which means a possible “Retina Display” release or there will be iPad 3 with “3D display” like the one prototype we’ve have seen at the Taiwan 2011 which also means that we might get a 3D display in the upcoming iPad 3 release, if so it will be great.
According to Craig Berger, a FBR Capital Markets analyst, after seeing the company’s current progress with display manufacturers, indicated that a prototype of next iPad 3 will not be ready until early 2012, means once again it is likely be announced in Spring.
This should squarely put to rest any debate about a 2011 launch of the iPad 3 — after all, Apple is severely supply constrained on the iPad 2, and it is by far the best-performing and functioning tablet in the world.
Furthermore Apple’s main producer Foxconn has also started operations in Brazil, most likely the next-gen iPad 3 will be made in Brazil in September, or at least a large portion of it is expected to be produced there. This will help reduce the cost and delays in the delivery of future iPad version….
