Apple’s New iPad 3 Enters Production, Supports LTE, HD Screen & Quad-core Chip!
Apple’s much waited new iPad 3 has reportedly being put into the production already, which has the support for LTE, a HD screen and faster Quad-Core processor – reports Bloomberg. A lot of rumors about iPad 3 are floating around us but this one looks more authentic, as it comes from a reliable source. A few weeks earlier WSJ confirmed iPad 3 to use the Sharp LCD panels. But according to the sources, Long- Term Evolution (LTE) is the new wireless standard that will be used in the new device besides the LCD’s and New quad-core chip. Well the question here is why Apple is bringing LTE to the iPad ahead of iPhone? The most probable reason is that because iPad has the relatively longer battery life than iPhone so it can support the power requirements of the new technology.
The company’s manufacturing partners in Asia started ramping up production of the iPad 3 this month and plan to reach full volumes by February, said one of the people, who asked not to be named because the details aren’t public. The tablet will use a quad-core chip, an enhancement that lets users jump more quickly between applications, two of the people said.
The main component suppliers for iPad 3 are said to be operating 24/7 to produce the new iPad 3 ahead of the schedule.
We’ll update you as soon as we get some more details…
